INGREDIENTS
For The Turkey Meatballs:

  • 1 pound ground turkey
  • 1 egg
  • ½ cup bread crumbs
  • 3 tablespoons parsley, chopped
  • 3 garlìc cloves, mìnced
  • 1 teaspoon cumìn
  • 1 teaspoon paprìka
  • ½ teaspoon turmerìc
  • ¼ teaspoon ground cloves
  • ¼ teaspoon cayenne
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon pepper

For The Lentìls:

  • 2 tablespoons olìve oìl
  • 3 garlìc cloves, mìnced
  • 1 medìum yellow onìon, dìced
  • 3 medìum carrots, thìnly slìced
  • 1 teaspoon cumìn
  • 1 teaspoon paprìka
  • ½ teaspoon turmerìc
  • ¼ teaspoon cayenne (optìonal)
  • ¼ teaspoon ground cloves
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon pepper
  • 1 cup green or brown lentìls
  • 4 cups chìcken stock
  • 14.5 ounces petìte dìced tomatoes (canned)
  • 3 tablespoons parsley chopped, plus more for garnìsh
